Index
  • There are four distinct areas that constitute the CORENEXA interface  -  Menu,  List,  List Item Detail  and  Voice Call Detail.
  • The "Menu" consists of the categories  Settings,  + New,  Calls,  Voicemail,  Recordings,  Chat,  SMS,  Contacts,  Meetings and Rooms.

Menu

  • "Lists" contain all items from a category.   In this case Contacts.  You can initiate a Chat, Voice Call, or Video Call directly from the selection.  This is discussed in more detail below.

List

  • Selecting the contact displays the "Contact Detail."  You can also initiate a Chat, Voice Call, or Video Call.  In addition, you can click on the Email Address to send an email, click on the Address to view the location on a map and click on Text to send an SMS message.  This is discussed in more detail below.

List Detail

  • When a voice call is connected, the detail area provides interfaces to turn recording on and off, mute your mic, place the call on hold, add another party, transfer the call and finally end the call.   This is discussed in more detail below.

Contacts

Authenticate with:

Index
  • Authenticate and sign into CORENEXA with either Google Workspace or Microsoft 365 credentials.
  • Once authenticated, both calendars and contacts are available for shared use within CORENEXA.
  • This list is added to Contacts and joins Community, Personal and Speed Dial contact lists.

Contact Type

  • With Community Contacts, you can Chat, Call, or establish an ad-hoc Video Call.

Contact Item with access to Chat, Voice Call  and Video Call

  • Calls from Callers not in the CORENEXA directory will be given the option to add it to the directory along with an option to call them back.

Index
  • Presence provides real-time visibility into the availability and status of users across different locations and communication channels.

Presence Selector

  • Distributed teams benefit from presence because it recreates the “in-office visibility” that remote work lacks.
  • Workers know who’s online, who can collaborate, and when it’s best to engage.
  • Encourages a sense of connection across geographies and time zones.

Softphone

Index
  • Users get a built-in softphone for making and receiving calls with extensive calling features such as call move, visual voicemail, call recording, call transfer, three-way calling etc., to ensure that inbound calls reach their appropriate destination.
  • Voice calls can be dialed from Contacts, the Dial Pad, Speed Dial List, Calls, Voicemail, Recordings, SMS Texts and any other telephone number on any other web page with "Click to Call."

Calling Rules

  • “Inbound Dialing Rules” are a set of configurable routing behaviors that determine what happens when an inbound call arrives at your extension, after higher-priority conditions (like Call Forward Always or Do Not Disturb) are resolved.  
  • The "Find Me" feature attempts to locate you by dialing each of the listed locations until you either accept or reject the call.
  • The caller is placed on hold until you are found. On answering you will have the option to accept the call, or reject the call. You also have the option to reject the call and leave a short message for the caller.
  • "Click to Call" can be set to use the Destop Set or PC/Mac/Linux based CORENEXA.

URL Agent

Pops an application window based on the Caller's ID.

  • Creates a URL based on a Caller's ID.
  • Pops an application window with the URL in an associated App.  In this case, the URL with CLID opens a CLOZE CRM record.

  • With CORENEXA, starting a video call is as effortless as placing a voice call or sending a text—making it the perfect choice for ad=hoc one-to-one video conversations.
  • Just click on the video icon.
  • Confirm your selection by clicking on the Yes icon.
  • The video call will connect once the far-end accepts.
  • If the person is unavailable, the video call icon will not appear.

Schedule and Start a Meeting

  • Meetings are scheduled via the browser client and started from both mobile and browser clients.
  • Scheduled meetings are added to Google or Microsoft Calendars via "Add to Calendar" and accessed via CORENEXA .

Join a Meeting

  • All you need is the Meeting URL, Meeting ID and PIN.
  • Entering the URL in any browser will open the Join Meeting page as illustrated above. 
  • Clicking on the above icon or the same icon in the upper right side or bottom of every display will launch a page that gives access to multipe meeting services.  Click on CORENEXA to launch the "Join Meeting" page.   You then enter the Meeting ID and PIN.
  • Up to 100 participants can join.

The Meeting

  • Supports audio, video, multi-user screen sharing, alerts, meeting chat, participant list, display layout, performance selection and breakout rooms.

Personal Meeting Rooms

  • Activated upon request.
  • A permanent room number is activated when the Personal Meeting Room (PMR) is configured.   This number remains constant until changed.
  • A security PIN can be changed, per meeting, to protect the confidentiality of the meeting.
  • This is your personal virtual meeting room.  Available whenever you need it.
  • Up to 100 participants can join.

  • CORENEXA and MS Teams can both run in a common Chrome or Edge browser window and share an LPS Connect outside line/number, ring group and contacts.
  • This enables the use of both applications to support today's extended communications requirements for voice, video, chat, SMS texting and meetings along with  their operating and support environments.
  • The use of a common browser, pinned tabs and browser  notifications provides a controlled and visual environment to support communications with the most situationally appropriate application, function or interface of CORENEXA or Teams.

  • CORENEXA and a Desktop Set can share the same extension.  If a call is answered on a Desktop Set, it can be moved to a mobile device and vice versa.
  • The functionality of the Desktop Set can be extended by interoperating with CORENEXA to add applications such as Visual Clickable Contacts, Call History, Messages (Chat and SMS) , Visual Voicemail, Video and Collaboration, and always available Meeting Rooms.
